By participating in this program for four months, volunteers from the local business community work with students to launch and run a small enterprise. This gives students the real-world skills and experience that they need to achieve their dreams of becoming entrepreneurs.
JA Company Program transfers students into tomorrows leaders by helping them to understand how to run a successful business enterprise.
JA PEI Company Program - an immersive experience that empowers Grade 10-12 students to start and run a real-world businesses with guidance from knowledgeable mentors.
Over the course of 15 weeks, you and other youth from across PEI will work collaboratively to run your own business from idea generation to company liquidation. You will use real money, real products and have real customers.
Learn about human-centered design thinking, creative product development, product life cycles, e-commerce, app development and more! This immersive program will not only equip you with the essentials for launching your own business, but also nurture your teamwork, decision-making, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
JA PEI Company program is a no cost weekly event and participants are expected to attend in person.
Meeting times: Wednesday evenings 4:30-6:30 PM (dinner will be provided)
Start date: February 21, 2024 (No session during March Break: March 28, 2024)
