Becoming A JA Volunteer

Inspire, Educate and Empower Canada’s Future Leaders 

As a JA volunteer, you will provide Canadian students with the confidence and skills they need to become leaders in their communities. You’ll help grade 3-12 students explore career opportunities, go after their dreams and learn what it takes to succeed in a global economy. 

When you deliver a JA program, you will:

• Motivate students with your knowledge and expertise

• Get students excited about careers in your business or industry

• Exercise your presentation, coaching and team-building skills

• Network with other JA volunteers

JA will provide you with training, support and program materials to ensure your volunteer experience is fun and meaningful. We have also created an online learning environment specifically for our prospective, new, and existing volunteers. To become a JA volunteer, follow these simple steps:

Register as a volunteer with your local JA office and visit the Royden Richardson Virtual School for Volunteers.

Complete volunteer training program offered by the local charter office and available online on the Royden Richardson Virtual School for Volunteers.

Three

Commit to a program delivery.

Share your volunteer experience.
