Teekay Supports Business Education for Youth

Vancouver, BC. – Junior Achievement of British Columbia (JABC) is pleased to announce a $25,000 donation and the continuation of a partnership with Teekay Shipping (Canada) Ltd. (Teekay) through the Junior Achievement business education programs in British Columbia.
JABC has been a Teekay charity of choice since 2006 with both funding and volunteers. Teekay generously hosts many events for JA students and Alumni and many staff volunteer to deliver a JA program in the classrooms.
“Working with JABC is an opportunity for Teekay to help future leaders gain some valuable experience,” said Jill Goertzen, Chairperson of Teekay’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee. “It’s always rewarding to make a positive impact in the Vancouver community.”
