JABC is hiring a Manager, Indigenous Programs

March 18, 2019 British Columbia

JABC is hiring a Manager, Indigenous Programs, to increase the delivery programs in Indigenous communities. This is a key leadership position, critical to the successful implementation of JABC’s new strategic plan Bright Futures for all BC’s Youth. Over the next five years, JABC plans to expand service to Indigenous youth across BC by delivering more JA programs into their communities.

The Manager, Indigenous Programs will be responsible for ensuring the program delivery model is suitable to the unique needs of Indigenous youth including defining target age range of student-participants, program structure, outside-the-classroom deliveries, and remote location deliveries.  Programs must also reflect the historical, cultural and economic context of Indigenous students.

Reporting to the Director, Programs this full-time position will work from the JABC offices located in Vancouver, BC or may be based out of home office if the candidate resides outside of BC’s Lower Mainland.
